The duration of EMDR Intensives can vary depending on your specific needs and goals. Typically, intensives range from 1 - 3 consecutive days, with extended six-hour therapy sessions each day to optimize the healing process. 

Research has shown that EMDR Intensives are highly effective in facilitating accelerated healing and profound breakthroughs. The concentrated and immersive nature of the intensives allows for a more comprehensive exploration and processing of unresolved experiences, traumas, and negative beliefs.

Prior to your EMDR Intensive, your therapist will provide you with specific instructions and guidance on how to prepare. This may include activities such as journaling, identifying specific targets for therapy, and practicing self-care techniques to ensure you are in the best state for healing. 

After completing an EMDR Intensive, your therapist will work with you to create a plan for ongoing care and support. This may involve regular therapy sessions, continued integration of the healing experiences, and strategies for maintaining emotional well-being.

No,  you do not have to reside in Florida. However, you must be in-person, in our office in Bradenton, FL in order to receive intensive treatment.  

If you are coming from out of state, we highly recommend turning your time here into a rejuvenating mental health retreat. The Bradenton/Sarasota areas offer a wide range of wellness activities and attractions to complement your EMDR Intensive experience. The cost for our EMDR Intensives starts at $1,500, which includes 6 hours of therapy per day. To secure your appointment times, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The remaining 50% will be due on the first day of the EMDR Intensive.
